Amy Derr is The Event’s Genie founder and ultimate point person. Amy has been an entrepreneur since 2003 when she launched her first business as a successful web designer. Her achievements with web design led her to work with clients on a deeper level by becoming a Certified Online Business Manager. She has the keen ability to accomplish tasks quickly and efficiently while having fun and empowering her clients in their various business endeavors. You can rest assured that with Amy on your team, “things DO get done!”

We sat down and asked a few questions to get to know the real Amy.

 What are three words your friends would use to describe you?
Hmm, they’d say I’m reliable, loyal and completely dedicated.

Where are some bucket list places you’d love to travel?
I’d love to go to Bali, Tahiti, Russia, and Japan. And the remaining six Unites States that I have yet to visit!

Favorite coffee drink on event days?
There is nothing better to me than a good mocha Frappuccino!

What are some passions besides event planning?
I have a lovely daughter and wonderful husband and some very pampered pups. We enjoy hiking, listening to music (we love vinyl!) and watching movies together. I’m very passionate about animal welfare issues and love spending time curled up with a good book.
